I have a strange urge to respond and save this poor goat from its uncertain fate. What I am concerned about, though, is why the poster is in possession of the creature in the first place. However that is the least of my worries when I consider the emphasis place upon the fact that this animal is NOT FOR EATING. Do people eat goats? I understand that we are experiencing some tough economic times but I sincerely doubt it has come to the point in which people are scouring Craigslist for any suitable form of sustinance. If that was the case, the 'Pets' section would be in serious crisis. But as this is not the current circumstances, I think we can (hopefully) assume that whoever was interested in the goat was not intending on eating the poor thing. I do have one suggestion for the poster...why not place this ad in the aforementioned 'Pets' section, thus eliminating any confusion as to the purpose of the sweet alpine doe...just a thought.
